Our Preclinical site in Everett, WA, is seeking a dedicated Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team and ensure the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

As an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator , you will play a vital role in maintaining our commitment to employee safety and regulatory requirements. Your administrative skills, attention to detail, and passion for safety will be instrumental in coordinating and supporting various EH&S initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain, coordinate and schedule various employee EHS mandatory compliance trainings using various computer programs
  • Coordinate and train employee on N-95 respirators and other EHS programs as directed
  • Perform regular checks of fire extinguishers, first aid kits, scrub kits, and spill kits, ensuring proper functionality and replenishing supplies as needed. Coordinate
    equipment pick-ups as needed for hazardous and dangerous waste compliance
  • Edit and update PowerPoint trainings as directed.
  • Edit and update company SharePoint site for EHS.
  • Order and maintain EHS supplies as needed
  • Answer employee EHS questions by email, in person, or on the phone.
  • Research EHS related products, chemicals ordinances as needed

 

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Four years of work experience required.  Previous experience within an EHS department or research/healthcare sector preferred.
  • Medium to High proficiency in MSFT Office - Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint
  • Previous experience in an EH&S department or research/healthcare laboratory is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MSFT Office – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint.
  • Basic Math Skill
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.  Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
  • Ability to take accountability and prioritize work.  Adaptivity to shifting priorities and changing work assignments.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle and dispose of biological and/or chemical substances and wastes following established protocols and wear appropriate PPE.

What We Offer:

The pay range estimated for this position is $22.00 to $26.00 per hour.  Please note that hourly rates/salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, prior relevant experience, skills, education, certification, location as well as internal equity and market data.
