Helping to ensure our guests arrival and departure run smoothly our Bellperson / Shuttle Drivers transports and delivers guests luggage to and from their rooms when required. In order to help guests enjoy the most of their time in the Rockies, our Bellperson share their knowledge on the local area and may help to assist or provide guests advise on booking activities and/or excursions! Not only do our Bellperson / Shuttle Drivers help us externally with our guests, they also help us internally by transporting our internal mail throughout of properties which assist in our day-to-day operations.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the loading and unloading of luggage and provide delivery to guest rooms;

  • Share general information on points of interest in the area and services in the community;

  • Work as a team player in meeting guests needs, and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments when necessary;
  • Assist guests with special needs;

  • Attend to group arrivals and departures: ensure all luggage is tagged accurately, delivered in a timely manner to guest rooms and picked up for groups departure;

  • Receive and deliver items for hotel guests;

  • Operate the resort shuttle bus in a safe and comfortable manner, on schedule and in compliance with all traffic regulations;

  • Handle luggage for passengers;

  • Transport internal mail between operating units;

  • Additional duties may be assigned to help meet guest needs.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Self-motivator with outgoing personality, strong interpersonal communication and commitment to providing a high level of guest service.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

  • Prior experience in a customer focused role is an asset

  • Ability to work in a multi-tasking, fast paced environment

  • A positive team player attitude and a strong willingness to learn

  • Valid Class 5 driver license

  • Superior organizational and time management skill.
