About the Role:

Corus Winnipeg with Power 97 & Country 99 has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Radio Technical Producer in our Winnipeg office. Reporting to the Program Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of board operating responsibilities as a technical producer for both stations and beyond. Be creative and learn from the best in the business.

You will contribute by:

• Smooth, professional board operation that meets the standards of a major market - as assigned.
• May require traffic updates and on-air duties at some point.
• Fill-in for full-time staff during vacation periods.
• Record and edit shows for broadcast on the station if needed.
• Flexibility and the ability to get to our studios is a must.

Skills and Experience you will bring:

• A Diploma in Radio Broadcasting and/or one year industry experience would be beneficial but not required.
• Knowledge of Media Touch and Burli and Adobe.
• Ability to work with a highly talented on-air team and take direction.
• Being able to multitask, communicate with staff and handle high pressure situation.
• A passion for rock & country formats.
• A positive, friendly manner and customer service approach that will enable the successful candidate to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity·
• A valid "G" driver's license and clean driver's abstract is required.
