About the Role:

 

Corus Entertainment is seeking an experienced professional for a key support position. The Executive Assistant role will provide administrative support to an SVP and two other executives. This role will require the successful candidate to have robust analytical skills, flourish in dynamic environments, excel in highly collaborative teams, pay meticulous attention to detail, and maintain a strong work ethic. 

 

 

You will contribute by:

 

  • Provide executive-level administrative support, managing active calendars and coordinating all travel arrangements.
  • Handle administrative functions such as expense reports, vendor management, invoicing, office needs/materials, and vacation tracking.
  • Efficiently handle tasks to maximize executive time, efficiency, and performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of any required PowerPoint and other presentation materials.
  • Manage confidential information and effectively communicate with senior executives at Corus and external partners.
  • Organize and maintain digital files, records, and documentation for easy retrieval.
  • Facilitate and support group meetings, Town Halls, external partner meetings as needed both virtually and onsite.
  • Coordinate, track, and process departmental budgets and invoices.
  • Act as a bridge for smooth communication with internal departments.
  • Proactively keep team members well-informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities.

 

Skills and experience you will bring:

 

  • College or University Degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Administrative, Coordinator, or Executive Assistant experience.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Programs including Teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and confidential issues/material while communicating effectively with senior executives.
