Career Opportunity: Technical Producer
Global Saskatoon is currently seeking a Full-Time Technical Producer to join their team. This position reports directly to the News Director/Station Manager.
Technical Production of Global News Morning
Responsible for liaising with production centre
Participate in story meetings and develop ideas for interviews and content
Coordinating, receiving and troubleshooting live hits
Editing voice overs, bumpers, headlines and other video elements as required
Ensure all equipment is in good working order prior to newscast
Recording and monitoring feeds
Perform other duties as required.
What we need from you:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in news production
Must work well under pressure and have a positive can-do attitude
Ability to meet strict daily deadlines, and work cooperatively with others in a dynamic teamwork environment
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and workflows
Strong organizational skills, punctuality, creativity and initiative
Working knowledge of ENPS and Stratus/Edius considered an asset
Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot problems on your own
Good communication skills
