Reporting to the Fires Product Manager and Heat Category Manager and working closely with Marketing, Sales, Engineering and Product Development teams, the Product Management Coordinator will support the advancement of our new product development initiatives. We are seeking a driven, passionate, well-organized, collaborative individual to support the execution of our product plan, which will achieve our marketing objective of becoming the brand of choice for Residential and Commercial home comfort in the Americas.

 

This is a contract position for approximately 6 months.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform comprehensive market and competitive analysis through industry research/reports, in-store and online.

  • Gather market intelligence by coordinating market research efforts to understand market needs and voice-of-the-customer.

  • Work collaboratively with sales and marketing to understand customer requirements and to identify ways in which we can further validate consumer expectations and ensure that we are designing with the consumer in mind.

  • Assist with the development of business cases for new product introductions.

  • Develop product communications and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Design sales, product and customer service presentations to clearly communicate product plans.

  • Provide support for product training and customer line reviews.

  • Support the MarCom team by providing a clear product marketing brief that identifies key features/benefits, specifications, positioning and channel strategy to facilitate the development of marketing programs/collateral.

  • Manage changes and improvements to existing products and communicate changes to the organization.

  • Manage sample process - plan, facilitate and execute product sample; set ups, reviews, repackaging and shipments.

  • Perform other administrative tasks as necessary to ensure timely support for the Product Management department.        

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma in Marketing and/or Business Management

  • Strong writing and presentation skills

  • Shows initiative, solutions focused. Comfortable with ambiguity, engages manager as needed.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

  • Strategic, tactical thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills that is committed to excellence.

  • Interpersonal awareness with a drive to build collaborative relationships

  • Strong and flexible organizational skills to meet the needs of the business.

  • Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • Bilingual (Fr/ English) an asset
