Reporting to the Planning & System Engineering Director, the Production Planning Coordinator is responsible for supporting the production department, overseeing the proper workflow of our production process; prioritizing tasks and insuring timely deliveries to customers.


  • Prepare and send the production priority list on a weekly basis

  • Create and maintain a master schedule for production manufacturing that satisfies customer delivery

  • Follow-up on style’s fit approval, purchase order deliveries and fabric tests

  • Plan the weekly production schedule according to style corrections, sales, fabric and trims availability/delivery and communicate that plan to the production department

  • Revise the production plan according to trims/fabric delays, garment tests, production issues, capacity overloads etc.

  • Communicate with traffic and the trims and fabric purchasing department in order to prioritize rush purchase orders

  • Inform management and recommend alternatives on how the requested demand could be satisfied

  • Respond to all inquiries from our Customer Service department

  • Send weekly reports to the manager (bestsellers, hots, left to cut reports)

  • Execute styles and/or carryover transfers

  • Sell out or discard styles and/or colors

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of pertinent work experience; fashion industry experience is considered an asset

  • College diploma; further education or certification is preferred

  • Bilingual (English and French)

  • Highly effective verbal communication and collaborative skills

  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel

  • Strong organizational/time management skills

  • Organized and able to prioritize

  • Detailed oriented and meticulous
