Objective:

The Talent and Culture Manager will proactively implement and manage all Human Resources programs and practices throughout the organization and its specific client group. The incumbent will create training programs to help cultivate an environment attracting, developing and retaining the best talent; while promoting a positive and supportive work environment and company culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads monthly meetings with client base

  • Create and execute new hire onboarding processes in collaboration with department leaders

  • Ensure company adherence with all HR policies and assists in improving/innovating current culture & policies

  • Manages all internal performance reviews and documents feedback securely

  • Work with the management team to systematically build processes and procedures around employee onboarding

  • Effectively communicate, advise and mentor employees and managers; including conflict resolution

  • Ensure and optimize the employee experience (clear, fair, company wide consistency)

  • Assist team leaders in optimizing performance of all team members

  • Act as a brand ambassador to promote a healthy and strong culture

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure optimal candidate/role alignment  

  • Foster an environment where employees are hired based on company standards and continue to maintain professional excellence

  • Improve recruitment practices to ensure effective channels are utilized resulting in a shorter time to fill open positions

  • Develop and implement succession planning

  • Create and implement T-charts and development programs

    Required Qualifications:

  • Preferably min 10 years of relevant Human Resources experience, ideally within people operations as a Generalist

  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal, French and English)

  • Has ideally worked in a high-growth/fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrable emotional intelligence and ability to handle complex, social dynamics among multi-disciplinary employees

  • Ability to see the “big picture” of how people and culture fit into the company’s overall business strategy and goals

  • Understands and prioritizes the value of diversity and inclusion in the workplace

  • Familiar with basic employment law, compliance matters and comfortable assessing competitiveness of compensation, benefits and perks
