The visual merchandiser will be responsible for the creation and adaptation of fashion displays and merchandising of Joseph Ribkoff collection’s in Department Stores.  The person will also insure to promote company’s branding image, elevate visual presentation trough flawless visual execution and sales support. 


Responsible for:


  • Produce window displays, signs, interior displays, floor plans and special promotions displays

  • Identify key messages and set a clear image of the end result

  • Anticipating and maximizing customer interest, reaction, and expectations with visual displays

  • Come up with, revise and present design ideas with assistant merchandisers

  • Act in alignment to the organization’s culture, products, image and target market

  • Change displays to promote new product launches and reflect festive or seasonal themes

  • Liaise with suppliers and source elements

  • Research lifestyle, demographics and design trends

  • Participate to trunk shows & fashion shows

  • Assist marketing department in the coordination of different annual events

  • Handle administrative tasks



Required Qualifications:


  • 2-5 years of experience in the fashion retail industry with visual merchandising responsibilities

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills (Team oriented)

  • Knowledge of Planogram systems

  • Demonstrated detail orientation; high sense of organization

  • Ability to manage multiple projects

  • Must have strong problem-solving skills that allow for a proactive approach to the business and organisational skills necessary to complete multiple tasks with deadlines

  • Ability to thrive in a fast past and dynamic environment

  • Ability to develop relationship with boutiques and retail staff

  • Ability to do physical tasks; lifting objects

  • Must possess basic Microsoft and Excel skills

  • Available to travel up to 100% of the time

  • Access to a valid driver's license
