 ROLE OF THE JOB

 

The candidate will be responsible for coordinating the bookings for Canadian purchase orders and performing administrative tasks to support the Import Logistics Department.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

  • Work closely with the nominated freight forwarder to approve corporate order bookings received from overseas;
  • Utilize La Vie en Rose’s ERP to optimize shipping and transportation procedures by running daily reports to follow up the transit of merchandise with suppliers and freight forwarder;
  • Data entry within computer systems of information that cannot be transmitted via EDI to ensure the systems are accurate and up to date;
  • Verify, request corrections and approve various document types (commercial, invoices for payment, freight invoices, B3s and others);
  • Upload all necessary documentation in the system
  • Daily follow ups with freight forwarder, suppliers and partners by email/phone;
  • Support the Import Logistics team by performing various administrative tasks.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • English and French- written and spoken( The person must communicate outside of Quebec);
  • Computer skills in MS Office: Excel and Outlook
  • Good organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and ability to manage priorities;
  • Multitask, sense of initiative, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines;
  • Dynamic, autonomous, interpersonal skills, teamwork;
  • Strong Communication skills, ability to maintain good relationships with internal and external clients.
