We work closely with the government to ensure that your discarded tires continue to provide future benefits across the province. We collect, transport and process scrap tires from across the province.

Truck Driver Class 1

We are looking to recruit additional Hook Lift Drivers for our growing team in Edmonton. We need people who are enthusiastic, hard working and ‘get the job done right’ kind of person with a customer focused attitude. Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Driving and operating a tractor and either super-b or converter style trailers for loading steel cages for used tires.
  • Service customer accounts on a regular daily basis.
  • Daily short-haul runs, home every day.
  • Interact and communicate with customers & dispatch in a courteous and respectful manner.
  • Securing and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
  • Visually inspect company vehicles few times daily.
  • Completion of daily paperwork (trip logs, payment receipts, pre/post inspections etc.).
  • Be able to prioritize and multi task and remain flexible in continually changing situations.
  • Must be able to work in inclement weather.

Required Skills:

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid CLASS 1 with Air Brake endorsement and provide a 5 year driver’s abstract. (sorry no GDL)
  • Must have Super-B experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally while consistently providing our customers with professional and outstanding service
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Mechanical knowledge would be an asset
  • Demonstrate safe/efficient driving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
  • Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Can adhere to and enforce all safety procedures
  • Must be able to work flexible work schedules as needed.
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 70 pounds.
