Come Grow with us!   We are seeking an Information Technology professional at our facility in Portland, TN.   As a key member of the Leadership Team, the Director of Information Technology will report to the company CFO and assume an operational and strategic role in management and security of NASG IT systems.

GENERAL SUMMARY 

To implement and support all business information systems that serve the manufacturing, financial and general business functions that control ongoing operations of the company and related divisions.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

  • Management of direct reports within the IT Department.
  • Establishes goals and objectives for direct reports within the IT department.
  • Manage several I.T. assignments/projects at once.
  • Consult with management to analyze business needs for management information systems and infrastructure, to determine scope and priorities of projects and to discuss system capacity and acquisitions.
  • Manage disaster recovery processes.
  • Manage local and wide area networking, including firewalls, switches, routers wired and wireless networks.
  • Establishes collaborative working relationships & facilities communications with the staff and

management across all NASG locations.

  • Develop policy and procedures to insure the safety and security of NASG IT systems.
  • Responsible for IT annual budget.
  • Stay current with technology: review new technologies as they are introduced to the marketplace and makes suggestions about when and how to apply them.
  • Provide technical support for manufacturing applications such as ERP.
  • Confidential treatment of company information.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • B/S or other technical degree in business information's systems or similar program

 

Experience:

  • Five+ years I.T. support of a medium size company required.
  • Minimum one to three years of I.T. project management experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing environment with ERP systems preferred.
  • Five+ years’ experience in general support of hardware and networking environment.

 

Personal/Technical Skills:

  • Installation, configuration and troubleshooting knowledge of a variety of operating systems.
  • Installation, configuration and troubleshooting knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Installation, configuration and troubleshooting knowledge of desktop, laptop, and printer hardware.
  • Installation, configuration and troubleshooting knowledge of telephones (Teams/mobile).
  • Understanding of computer systems and concepts acquired through combination.
  • of education and experience emphasizing manufacturing and ERP systems.
  • Will have the ability to work a schedule that allows completion of the job daily.
  • Will possess the organizational skills necessary to maintain systems, processes, and documentation in compliance with company and quality standards.
  • Must be able to work with all levels of associates.

 

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in English
  • Spanish a bonus

 

Computer/Software:

  • Knowledge of Windows Server technologies, laptop and desktop operating systems, design software, and ERP systems.
  • Must have strong experience utilizing tools and systems including active directory, Office 365 administration, remote desktop, ticketing systems.

Office:  Open Office Environment

 

Plant:  Various types of manufacturing environments.

 

Travel: Not required
