About the Role 
The OCS is currently recruiting for a Data Engineer to join our growing team. As Data Engineer, you will be responsible to optimize our data/data pipeline architecture of our integrated systems to power, advanced analysis, analytical reports and dashboards for our internal clients. 

This is an exciting opportunity to use your to 5+ years of experience with data engineering to provide guidance and insights into data initiatives/requests, based upon your knowledge of industry best practices and methodology to provide robust solutions.  

About Your Day 
  • Build and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines reports and dashboards
  • Solution complex data engineering problems to directly support and deliver for strategic data initiatives 
  • Ensure data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects.
  • Improve and automate, where possible, the data pipelines for workforce data analytics, and integrations between various systems
  • Translate data requirements into detailed designs and pipeline architecture, ensuring proper documentation of methodology. 
  • Drive thought leadership and define best practices around data extraction, modeling, consumption, and governance

About You 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Information Technology or a related field of study, or equivalent level of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience with data analytics, developing and maintaining data warehouses to feed advanced analytics and deploying analytical models within an organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Advanced skill with Excel, Python, SQL, R, Power BI
  • Experience developing cloud based solutions with Microsoft Azure.
