About the Role
We’re looking for a UX Project Coordinator to join our Digital Experience department. As UX Project Coordinator, you will coordinate the deliverables, timelines and interconnection of digital experience projects/enhancements, to ensure smooth delivery. You will also write user stories, acceptance criteria, and perform UAT testing on new enhancements. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your experience in UX/digital and your project coordination skills. 

As UX Project Coordinator, you will also use your collaborative and relationship building skills to liaise between digital experience teams, business units, and technology teams to translate user needs/requirements into UAT test cases that ensure the enhancement is robust and produces a better experience for the user. 

About Your Day
  • UX and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Coordination
    • Elicit UAT requirements using business process descriptions, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis, interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, etc. 
    • Translate business requirements and user needs into detailed user flows, wireframes, and low-fidelity prototypes 
    • Write concise and effective User Stories based on the needs/requirements identified.
    • Define precise and accurate User Story acceptance criteria to be used by developers and testers. 
    • Perform UAT against acceptance criteria and provide clear, concise, and timely test results to stakeholders.
  • UX Project Coordination
    • Support the implementation of digital projects by documenting progress and producing weekly/monthly reports to communicate UX project status
    • Understand the potential implications/impacts of the projects and coordinate with other departments, technical partners, and digital teammates.  
    • Understand how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
    • Support the digital experience team by coordinating with developers and subject matter experts to analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs 
    • Support the digital team in meeting required timelines for each deliverable 

About You
  • Completion of Post-Secondary education in Business, Commerce, Computer Science, Engineering or related areas OR equivalent combination of experience and post-secondary education
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in project coordination is required. Digital sprint scheduling experience would be a strong asset. 
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in a UI/UX environment, including requirement gathering on a web-based platform, and a strong knowledge of web concepts.
  • Experience with the following technologies would be a strong asset: JIRA, Confluence, Google Analytics, Sketch, Invision, ServiceNow)
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment would be an asset
