OVERVIEW

The Human Resources Assistant (Compliance) primary responsibility is to ensure that the organization is compliant within the policies and procedures requirements.  This role supports the Human Resources team and is required to provide a variety of administrative and Human Resources duties.   It is imperative that the Human Resources Assistant (Compliance) provides exceptional customer service in a warm, welcome, and inviting atmosphere for all Associates.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Manage all GPEB applications and renewals for our Associates
•    Enroll and also maintain Associates’ ART, AML, Privacy training
•    Ensure that all Associates have their Serving it Right, as well as other trainings and/or license as applicable to their specific positions
•    Encourage mutual accountability in service and inspiring others
•    Handle confidential and proprietary information on a daily basis while maintaining professionalism when handling sensitive issues
•    Assist with the “on-boarding” process for new hires in terms of training, as well as other duties when required
•    Enter new hire data or any data change information into the HRIS system and follows up with Hiring Manager and/or Associate regarding any missing documentation as a partner to the secondary HR Assistant
•    Run various reports from HRIS software to assist the HR team and assist with any tasks as assigned by the team
•    Respond to all request in a timely and professional manner
•    Complete other office duties such as photocopying, scanning, filling as needed
•    Assist with all operations of the Human Resources office, including completing other duties as assigned
•    Collect probationary reviews and ensuring completion and compliance in all departments
•    Communicate with managers to ensure completion of all renewal GPEB cards, and upcoming trainings
•    Run monthly reports for other department managers and third parties as needed
•    Assist in HR events and employee engagement activities

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
•    1-3 years of experience as a Human Resources Assistant
•    Bachelor’s Degree or a Diploma in Human Resources or a combination of relevant education and experience
•    Must be proficient working with Microsoft Office
•    Experience working with a HRIS system, such as Ceridian Dayforce or equivalent
•    A passion for excellent service and the organization’s vision
•    Provide a warm and inviting atmosphere for all Associates where they feel supported with any HR inquires they might have
•    Must be able to complete administrative tasks accurately and meet deadline expectations

CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS
•    Ability to obtain a valid GPEB License
•    Ability to complete all BCLC Certifications
•    Serving it Right Certification
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•    Able to lift, handle, and transport materials that are over 20lbs
•    Required to sit, stand and walk during working hours
