  • Report to the Corporate Controller and work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Review cash and provide bank administration.
  • Investigate unusual trends and variances in our expense accounts.
  • Prepare and review balance sheet account schedules.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including month-end journal entries and analytics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies; provide recommendations on cost saving opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Qualifications   

  • Two years of experience in a mid-sized company.
  • Post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Working towards a CPA designation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational skills and problem-solving skills; attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines.
  • Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook).
