The Fitness Education Program Coordinator & Administrative Assistant reports to the Director of Fitness Education and supports the Manager of Sales & Fitness Services. The primary responsibilities of this position are to coordinate fitness certifications, courses and programs; and various administrative functions at the Club Support Centre. The ideal candidate has a background in customer service, has a passion for health and fitness and wants to share this with others.      

 

Program Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Assists organizing and preparing for external and internal fitness certifications, courses and programs (BCPTI, nashFIT, etc.).
  • Communicates with prospective students and current team members about enrolments, payments, graduate placements, etc.
  • Participates in lead generation activities of prospective students through events and social media.
  • Coordinates with various vendors.
  • Additional duties and projects as required.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Various administrative functions, including, but not limited to administering the voicemail inbox, greeting guests, preparing club couriers, stationary supply orders, travel arrangements (flights, hotels, etc.).
  • Additional duties and projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in fast paced customer service, hospitality or retail environments.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail, good decision making, judgement and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint) skills.
