Franchise Business Coach - Operations

Key Responsibilities: (includes but not limited to):


  • Partner with Franchisees to build organizational capability and drive strategic brand vision through targeted joint business plans.

  • Influence leadership and strategic direction with Franchisees to drive same store sales growth and profitability while elevating the guest experience.

  • Implement KFC programs and communicate company strategies and objectives clearly and effectively.

  • Partner with cross functional teams to support the execution of new product rollouts, new restaurant openings, and the implementation of systems, programs and workshops.

  • Review relevant data streams (Operations KPIs (Speed accuracy etc.), Compliance (Food Safety, Brand Standards) to establish themes, patterns, trends and establish root cause diagnosis.

  • Leverage KPI metrics, insights and recommendations to identify and target franchise improvements aimed at franchisee profitability and maximizing both the guest and employee experience.

  • Coach and influence operations management teams at all levels to drive operations excellence.

  • Champion the KFC culture of “Be your best self, make a difference and have fun” in everything that you do.

Key Qualifications:


  • Post-Secondary degree in Business, Operations or related field.

  • Strong knowledge in Restaurant or Retail Operations with a minimum of five years of multi-unit experience.

  • Preferred but not required: Bilingual in French and English.

  • Exceptional training, coaching and communication skills.

  • Ability to identify, formulate and analyse themes from data.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills.

  • Excellent relationship building skills.

  • Excellent prioritization and project management skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with leaders at all organizational levels.

  • Strong ability to hold others accountable.

  • Ability to travel (65-70% on the road) and (50-55% overnight stays) consecutive days away.
